Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This notice is provided by Big Spawn LLC (“Big Spawn”, “we”, “us”) to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA/CPRA”), codified at California Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq.
We do not sell personal information
Big Spawn does not “sell” personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA/CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ad)). We do not exchange personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration with any third party for that third party's own commercial purposes. We have not done so in the past 12 months and have no plans to do so.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
Big Spawn does not “share” personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA/CPRA (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ah)) for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties so they can target you with advertising on services they do not operate, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.
We do not run behavioral advertising, remarketing, or cross-site advertising cookies on our websites. The one advertising technology we use is Google Ads conversion measurement on bigspawn.com's public pages, which tells us whether our own ads lead to visits and sign-ups. It runs in Google's restricted data processing mode, under which Google acts as our service provider, with personalized advertising switched off, so it is neither a sale nor sharing of your personal information. You can still switch it off in the “Privacy Choices” panel, and a Global Privacy Control signal keeps it from loading unless you have switched it on yourself. For details on cookies and similar technologies we do use, see our Cookie Policy.
Limited operational disclosures
We do disclose personal information to a small set of “service providers” and “contractors” (as those terms are defined by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ag) and (j)) so they can perform business purposes on our behalf. Specifically: cloud hosting and database services, our payment processor (Polar Software, Inc., who acts as merchant of record), transactional email delivery, customer support tooling, and security/abuse monitoring. These disclosures are governed by written data-protection contracts that prohibit each recipient from selling the information, sharing it for cross-context behavioral advertising, retaining it after the business purpose is complete, or using it for any purpose other than the one we specify.
The full, current list of these service providers is published at /subprocessors.
Sensitive personal information
Big Spawn does not use or disclose “sensitive personal information” (as defined by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ae)) for purposes other than those permitted under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121(a): providing the Services you requested, security and integrity, short-term transient use, or other purposes the law specifically permits without a right to limit.
How California residents can exercise their rights
Even though we do not sell or share personal information, California residents retain the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know, access, correct, delete, and port the personal information we hold about them, to limit our use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a verifiable consumer request, email privacy@bigspawn.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and tell us which right you would like to exercise.
We will respond within 45 days as required by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.130, extendable by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary with notice to you. We may need to verify your identity (typically by matching information you provide against records already associated with your account) before fulfilling the request. Authorized agents may submit a request on your behalf with written authorization and proof of identity.
Account holders can also self-serve many actions in-product, including exporting and deleting account data, from their dashboard's account settings.
Right to non-discrimination
Big Spawn will not deny you Services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of Services for exercising any right you have under the CCPA/CPRA.
If our practices change
If Big Spawn ever begins to sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, we will update this notice, update our Privacy Policy, and provide a working opt-out mechanism on this page before doing so. We already honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals today: browsers that send them have our anonymous usage analytics disabled by default (an explicit choice in the footer’s “Privacy Choices” panel takes precedence), and we would honor GPC as a sale/share opt-out if our practices ever changed.
